A Public Policy Strategic Research Initiative Seminar

Date: 14:00-17:00, Monday 23rd November
Venue: Lubbock Room, Peterhouse College, Cambridge

This afternoon seminar, organised by the Cambridge Public Policy SRI, will discuss whether climate change policy should focus more on demand reduction strategies. It will be led by Professor Julian Allwood, Department of Engineering, University of Cambridge.

With contributions from Cambridge specialists in history, theology, politics, economics, philosophy and public health participants will be challenged to look outside the energy system and think about how and why we might change behaviour on energy use.

The aim of the seminar is to generate ideas and insights for future research questions that might be pursued in relation to climate change policy.

Lord Richard Wilson of Dinton will chair the discussions.
