A panel discuss on the future of science and policy research funding is being held as part of Research Day 2018. Chaired by Bridget Kendall MBE, Master of Peterhouse Cambridge, the panel discussion includes;

- Dr Julian Huppert, Director of the Intellectual Forum, Jesus College, and former Liberal Democrat MP for Cambridge

- Hermann Hauser, entrepreneur, Co-founder of Amadeus Capital Partners Limited
- Dr Brian Bowsher, Chief Executive of the Science and Technology Facilities Council
