Greenhouse gas removal from the atmosphere

NERC, the Engineering & Physical Sciences Research Council (EPSRC), the Economic & Social Research Council (ESRC) , the Science & Technology Facilities Council (STFC), the Arts & Humanities Research Council (AHRC) , the Biotechnology & Biological Sciences Research Council (BBSRC), the Department of Energy & Climate Change (DECC) and the Met Office are inviting applications from researchers, industry representatives and policy makers to attend a one-day workshop.

The purpose of the event is to contribute ideas which will be used to inform a programme of research, with the goal of defining the scope of a potential joint research programme addressing greenhouse gas removal from the atmosphere with a truly integrated and interdisciplinary approach.
