NERC, the Engineering & Physical Sciences Research Council (EPSRC), the Economic & Social Research Council (ESRC) , the Science & Technology Facilities Council (STFC), the Arts & Humanities Research Council (AHRC) , the Biotechnology & Biological Sciences Research Council (BBSRC), the Department of Energy & Climate Change (DECC) and the Met Office are inviting applications from researchers, industry representatives and policy makers to attend a one-day workshop.
The purpose of the event is to contribute ideas which will be used to inform a programme of research, with the goal of defining the scope of a potential joint research programme addressing greenhouse gas removal from the atmosphere with a truly integrated and interdisciplinary approach.

Please note that not all applicants may be able to attend the meeting due to venue size. NERC and its partners reserve the right to limit attendance to ensure a balance of institutions, expertise and relevance to the workshop.
