European Commission & Centre for Science and Policy Workshop
Brussels, 15-16 May 2014
Convened by Anne Glover & Robert Madelin
REGISTRATION HAS NOW CLOSED
The goal of the workshop is to outline significantly improved, data-driven use of evidence as a foundation for future EU policy development.
The use of evidence for policy-making has the potential to be radically transformed by new digital technologies. This workshop will examine these impacts from three different angles: the changing nature of what constitutes evidence for policy making; the processes and tools through which such evidence can be acquired; and how such evidence can be used for policy-making in the EU.
The workshop will be expertly facilitated and highly interactive; we expect to end the event with a set of concrete and actionable outcomes.
