Antoinette Jackson is the Chief Executive of Cambridge City Council. She took up this position in June 2009. As the most senior officer at the council, Antoinette has responsibility for all the council's staff and services. She leads the Council’s staff to provide a broad range of district council services and works with elected Members and other partners to deliver the Council’s ambitions.

The Council has turnover of c£130m per year and employs 950 staff. In addition to the traditional district council services, the City Council still has its own housing stock; provides a comprehensive range of leisure and arts and community development activities; and has an extensive commercial property portfolio.

Previously Antoinette was the Director of Customer & Democratic Services with the City Council (May 2007 – June 2009) and before that, Head of Strategy & Partnerships (1999-2007). She has also worked for the London Borough of Camden and Reading Borough Council.

Attended Somerville College, Oxford – studied Philosophy, Politics and Economics.
