Ursula Zoellner Professor of Cancer Research, Department of Oncology, University of Cambridge

Ashok Venkitaraman is the Ursula Zoellner Professor of Cancer Research and Senior Research Group Leader in the Hutchison/MRC Research Centre.He also holds the position of Director of the Medical Research Council Cancer Cell Unit (MRC CCU), Hutchison/MRC Research Centre and Joint Director of The Cambridge Molecular Therapeutics Programme (CMTP).

His research interests include Understanding Chromosomal Instability and Exploiting it for Cancer Therapy.
