Dr Asma Soltani is a Paediatric Specialty Trainee on an Academic Clinical Fellowship at Cambridge University NHS Foundation Trust. Previousy, she was a Foundation Junior Doctor at Imperial College NHS Trust. She received her MD degree from Université Paris Descartes in 2016 and her PhD in Neuroscience from CNRS Université Paris Descartes in 2013.

Dr Soltani is conducting research into the effects of genetic mutations in conditions such as Rett syndrome and autism. She is working to identify core principles of cortical neuronal network development, and to test therapeutic interventions.
