Camilla’s longstanding interest in public policy has developed across her civil service career – first working in Local Government for a City Councillor in Ohio, USA before pursuing operational and policy roles across the civil service.Having worked in education, international trade, employment and international development roles – as well as on secondment to the NHS as an operational services manager – Camilla joined the Home Office, where she honed her skills in Private Office, first in the Minister for Immigration’s office in the wake of the Windrush scandal before moving to advise the Home Secretary on issues involving Public Safety and National Security.
