Hilda Harb has been the Head of Statistics Department at the Ministry of Public Health (MOPH) of Lebanon since 2002. Ever since, she initiated many efforts in moving the Health Information and data documentation at the Ministry towards automation. She is also working on enhancing the Civil Registration and Vital Statistics system in Lebanon through close collaboration with the Ministry of Interior and WHO. She is a principal investigator in conducting policy-oriented national surveys and assists the Director General of Health in various technical issues related to health policy and program coordination. Hilda is also responsible for generating the health indicators of Lebanon, and the National Health Accounts.

Prior to her current position, Hilda was a Public Health Inspector at the Ministry of Public Health and before that she was a Research Assistant at the American University of Beirut. She worked on a range of projects concerning women's health, including reproductive and maternal health.

Hilda has a BSc, majoring in Environmental Health, and a Masters of Public Health, specializing in Epidemiology and Biostatistics, from the American University of Beirut.
