Commercial Director, EPSRC Centre for Innovative Manufacturing in Industrial Sustainability, Institute for Manufacturing, University of Cambridge

Ian Bamford is the Commercial Director of the EPSRC Centre for Innovative Manufacturing in Industrial Sustainability in the Institute for Manufacturing at the University of Cambridge. In 35 years of industry experience, Ian has worked at senior levels in multinational companies such as Dell, Philips and Groupe Bull, as well as setting up and running small and mid-sized technology and consulting businesses in the USA and the UK.

At the Centre for Industrial Sustainability, he has responsibility for the management of all back office activities and recruitment of new Industry and Academic partners. He also has particular interest in the development of guides and tools for industry and the development of international collaborations.
