Jane is currently Arts & Events Manager at Cambridge City Council, having previously been Chief Executive of ADeC, an arts development charity. She is also Chair of Arts Development UK, and Chair of the National Culture & Leisure Forum, so works closely with Arts Council England and DCMS/LGA colleagues on cultural policy. Jane is currently a PhD student (part time) with the Open University sociology department and even finds time to help run Strawberry Fair, a large scale, one day, volunteer run, outdoor music and arts festival held on Midsummer Common, Cambridge. Jane is an Affiliate of the Centre for Research on Socio-Cultural Change (CRESC).

    CSaP, the Cambridge Forum for Sustainability and the Environment, and the Energy@Cambridge Initiative are co-hosting a Science Festival evening event where a panel of distinguished speakers will talk about their vision for a sustainable city and how increased connectivity and the flow of resources, people and energy could help to shape cities in the future.
