Megan Sim is a Senior Analyst at the RAND Corporation, based in the Cambridge office. Her research covers education, criminal justice, as well as social care and health policy. She is currently evaluating two education interventions that aim to improve literacy and maths skills respectively in primary school pupils. She is part of the international consortium that is implementing the OECD TALIS Starting Strong Survey. This project aims to identify the strengths and challenges in early childhood learning environments in nine different countries across the world, as part of the OECD's wider aim to develop early childhood education and care data.

Megan holds a PhD in Psychology, and an MPhil in Social and Development Psychology, both from the University of Cambridge, as well as a BA in Psychology and Theatre from the University of Southern California.
