Visiting Researcher, Centre for the Study of Existential Risk, University of Cambridge
Rumtin is a Visiting Researcher with the Centre for the Study of Existential Risk (CSER). He is currently on leave from Australia’s Department of the Prime Minister and Cabinet where he works on foreign policy and national security issues. Prior to that, he worked in Australia’s Department of Defence, Deloitte and the Commonwealth Bank of Australia. While at CSER, he will be looking at ways that national governments can better understand, prevent and prepare for existential risks.
