Siddharth joined the National Infrastructure Commission in July 2016 and was previously a Policy Adviser in the Financial Services Group of HM Treasury, leading on financial inclusion and working on the development of the Prime Minister’s Life Chances Strategy.
Siddharth holds a B.Sc. in Economic History and a M.Sc. in Population and Development from the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE), the latter funded by a joint ESRC and Population Investigation Committee Studentship. Prior to joining the Civil Service he worked in Parliament and co-authored a paper on pre-election contact between the Civil Service and the opposition at the Institute for Government.
