You can listen to podcasts of Charles Kennel's lectures on adaptation to climate change here.

CSaP is piloting a new programme for Visiting Research Fellows, which will bring internationally outstanding researchers to Cambridge for a residential programme. Visiting Research Fellows will come from a wide range of disciplines to contribute to the development of a body of world-leading scholarship on networks of expertise and evidence for public policy.

Our inaugural Fellow, Professor Charles F Kennel, will deliver a series of weekly seminars entitled Adaptation to climate change, starting on 16 January 2014. Amongst other activities, Professor Kennel will also actively participate in the weekly STS Workshop and contribute to CSaP’s Cities Policy Challenge.

The Visiting Research Fellows programme is the next step in CSaP’s development of a powerful network connecting researchers with policy makers. The programme will make a significant contribution to understanding how evidence, expertise and public policy interact, and how research expertise can contribute to better policy making – addressing the greatest challenges which our society faces, from climate change to cyber-security, poverty to pandemics, food technologies to fracking.
