New Policy Fellows announced - Lent Term 2017

Following a further competitive election process, the Centre has announced the names of the successful applicants to the Policy Fellowship for Lent Term 2017. We look forward to welcoming the following newly elected Fellows when they make their first visits to Cambridge between January and March.

  • David Cope - Director of Strategy, Royal Botanic Gardens Kew
  • John Curnow - Chief Economist, Defra
  • Oliver Ferrari - Desk Officer, Foreign and Commonwealth Office
  • Malte Gerhold - Interim Executive Director of Strategy & Intelligence, Care Quality Commission
  • Tom Hook - Strategy and Programmes Director, London Borough of Barking and Dagenham
  • Nick King - Special Adviser, Department for Communities and Local Government
  • Michael Macdonnell – Director of Strategy, NHS England
  • Frances Pimenta - Policy Advisor, Defra
  • Brittany Smith - Senior Policy Analyst, Google Inc.
  • Steve Smith - Head of Science, Committee on Climate Change
  • Emma Woods - Head of Policy, Wellbeing, Royal Society
  • Rachel Zammett - Head of Climate Change, HM Treasury

Invitations to researchers to meet the Fellows on their visits to Cambridge will be sent out over the coming weeks. The Centre would like to thank the members of the election panel for their contributions to reviewing the candidates' applications.
