Nicola Buckley joined the Centre for Science and Policy in February in a new role as Associate Director. She will be responsible for directing the Policy Fellowships Programme, which matches policy professionals with researchers. Nicola will be taking over from Nick Gray who has played an important role establishing and running the Policy Fellowships Programme since 2010.
Nicola comes to CSaP after several years as Head of the University of Cambridge’s Public Engagement team, which she joined in 2004. Nicola’s role included overseeing the annual Cambridge Science Festival and Cambridge Festival of Ideas, as well as other public events and public engagement initiatives.
Nick Gray has been with CSaP since 2009, and has played a central role in the success of the CSaP Policy Fellowships Programme. Nick will continue to work with CSaP running the Policy Leaders Fellowships.
