CSaP has led a series of externally funded projects that have drawn on a wide range of expertise, including specialists in science and technology studies, people with practical experience of science policy, and research students with an interest in science policy.

Each project addresses aspects of the overall question concerning the role of knowledge in shaping the relationship between evidence, expertise and public policy.
