Events Sponsorship
The Centre for Science and Policy (CSaP) offers an events programme which is designed to make vital connections. We bring academic experts, thought-leaders and career researchers together with policy professionals in government and industry in such a way that insights from science and technology can help create robust and effective public policy and strengthen policy-making processes. Many events are run in collaboration with government, learned societies and funding organisations; and in so doing we form strategic relationships on policy relevant topics. The following information is designed to provide future strategic partners with details of our event opportunities and associated benefits.
Programme
Our events programme facilitates knowledge exchange through a number of tried and tested formats – from niche events such as Policy Workshops organised for invited stakeholders to high-profile Distinguished Lectures for over one hundred delegates on major science and policy issues. Recommendations, requests to repeat events and invitations by government to design specific workshops demonstrate the effectiveness and professionalism of CSaP events.
Impact
Our delegates know they will benefit from developing personal networks and from opportunities to share research, career and policy knowledge; the calibre and mutual interests of participants and speakers ensure that lasting and highly influential connections are made. Delegates arrive at a CSaP event expecting a stimulating and thought-provoking experience, but they also often take away something unexpected – new ways of thinking about policy issues, new research opportunities, and even life-changing career choices.
Partner Benefits
Opppportunities are available for partners to exhibit, shape content, and participate directly in events. With each partnership we provide the opportunity to access the highest level of academic and policy thinking and to create ongoing relationships and collaboration for the parties involved. Partner benefits are subject to sponsorship level.
Costs
Sponsorship rates for Sponsor and Partner packages are subject to VAT. Our sponsorship and exhibition packages are competitively priced and we aim to offer good value for money for participating organisations. Prices for exhibiting and sponsoring more than one event are also available on application. Sample agendas and delegate lists for the various events can be provided on request.
