Innovation and public services
The current economic climate has put a requirement on public services to deliver more with less. Britain's longstanding interest and excellence in innovation is now more than ever directed at new ways of delivering policy that costs less but delivers the same or better performance.
To better address questions such as the role of social enterprise in the delivery of public services and the impact of competitiveness on the public sector, CSaP has brought together senior representatives from the Department for Business, Innovation and Skills, the Department for Communities and Local Government and the Home Office with academics and organisations such as UK-IRC.
