Cath is a Programme Manager in the Natural Capital team, with a focus on projects related to biodiversity and pollinators.

Cath has over ten years’ experience working in conservation research and delivery. She joins CISL from the RSPB where she provided scientific support to conservation projects in West Africa, with a particular focus on REDD+, protected area management and commodities. Prior to this, Cath worked for Birdlife International on agriculture and local livelihoods and the University of Cambridge researching sustainability standards. During her career she has published widely on the biodiversity impacts of different farming systems and of climate change in both European and tropical contexts. Cath has a PhD in Ecology from the University of Bristol and a Zoology degree from Durham University.
