Dr James Hodgkinson is a member of Professor David Spring's research group in the Department of Chemistry at the University of Cambridge, and a Junior Research Fellow in Trinity College. He obtained his BSc in Chemistry from Queens University Belfast in 2007. He then moved to the University of Cambridge for his PhD studies, where he worked at the chemical/biological interface in the area of Quorum Sensing under the supervision of David Spring and Dr. Martin Welch. Upon completing his PhD in 2011 he became a Junior Research Fellow at Trinity College.
