Malcolm Reid is a McCourt Scholar at Georgetown University from 2021-22

He was previously Director of Strategy for the Covid-19 Vaccination Programme at NHS England and prior to that he was the Senior Adviser to the Prime Minister on health and social care, based in the No10 policy unit.

Before that, he worked in the NHS, including on a programme to create a world-leading new heart and lung institute, formed of three hospitals and a university. He has also worked in the Cabinet Office where he jointly led the health team in the Prime Minister’s Implementation Unit.

Malcolm started his career in consultancy, working across a range of NHS and local government clients.
