Alexandra is Senior Private Secretary at the Ministry of Justice. Prior to this she worked in the Prime Minister’s Strategy Team in the COVID-19 Taskforce informing decisions made by the Prime Minister. This included resenting to the Prime Minister when and how to release restrictions. She also worked on strategic planning on the long-term shift from pandemic to endemic and the risks of new variants to vaccines.

In her second year in Government, Alexandra previously worked as a Policy Adviser in the Department for Transport where she worked on the airport capacity strategy and airline insolvencies. Alexandra has previously been seconded to the Department of Health and Social Care to inform COVID-19 policies. She graduated from the London School of Economics in 2017 with an MSc (Hons) in Human Geography, specialising in urban planning.

    CSaP annual meeting & reception 2021

    On 21 October 2021, CSaP hosted its first in-person networking event since the COVID-19 pandemic began. The annual meeting and reception, held at the Royal Academy of Engineering in London, provided an opportunity for 115 public policy professionals, industry leaders, and researchers to meet and share their experiences to improve decision-making.
