Director of Finance, University of Cambridge

Andrew Reid has been the Director of Finance of the University of Cambridge since 2001. He is responsible for financial planning, financial and management reporting, financial operations, taxation, procurement, treasury management and oversight of the University’s investment and financial assets.

Prior to joining the University he spent eleven years in the telecommunications industry with Cable & Wireless as Director of Finance, Europe and latterly Director of Finance, Global Businesses. His earlier career was with KPMG in London, before moving to join Jardine Matheson in Hong Kong, where he held various financial and general management roles.

Andrew Reid is a chartered accountant, holds an MA in mathematics from University College, Oxford and an MBA from Cranfield School of Management.
