Bridget is now studying for a degree in Historic Carving at the City & Guilds London School of Art.

Bridget was previously Deputy Director, Business Profits, Business, Assets and International Policy at HMRC and Deputy Director, UK Internal Market, in BEIS EXA group. In that role, she led for BEIS on the joint BEIS/HM Treasury project to develop options for managing regulatory coherence in the UK internal market after Exit. Her previous DD experience in BEIS includes leading on State aid and EU single market policy. Other SCS roles have been in HM Treasury (insurance market policy) and DWP (private pensions). She has a background in financial regulation, financial markets and tax, having spent the early part of her career at the Bank of England and in HMRC.

Bridget read Classics at Oxford and has an MSc in European Studies from the London School of Economics.
