Danielle is the Strategic Development Manager at Cambridge Institute of Public Health. She supports the CIPH Director and Strategy Team to manage the CIPH Strategy and Co-ordination team and operationalise the Institute’s long term vision and strategy.

In early 2015, Danielle joined the Wellcome Trust, where she managed the entire Cell Biology portfolio and a subset of the population health portfolio in the team of Cell, Developmental and Physiological Sciences. In addition to business as usual, Danielle internally managed and led on large projects and Strategic initiatives such as the UK Biobank, Wellcome Centres competition and Health Data Research UK.

Danielle received her first BSc (Hons) in Physics from the University of Dundee and a PhD in BioPhysics, studying amyloid aggregation from the University of Cambridge. Danielle went on to do postdoctoral training at both the University of Dundee and University College London. During this time her work focused on single cell heterogeneity of cell cycles and transcription factors in mouse stem cells and in model systems such as dictyostellium using quantitative time lapse imaging and custom in silico models
