David has been a Head of Regeneration at the DLUHC since 2021. Prior to that he was a Senior Policy Advisor working on the Towns Fund, High Speed 2, Freeports, and commercial property policy. Before then he worked with 150 neighbourhoods around England given £1m each to spend as they saw fit, as part of the Big Local programme, and at the Housing Association’s Charitable Trust on social impact evaluation. Until 2020, he also sat on the board of CDS Cooperatives, a housing association and property manager for the cooperative housing sector.
