Dorothy is a highly accomplished Fellow with a diverse background in media and journalism. She holds a BA in Philosophy from Manchester University and a Diploma in Business Studies from Sheffield University. With extensive experience in television, she has held prominent positions such as Editor-at-Large at Channel Four Television and Head of News and Current Affairs at Channel Four. Her career includes roles as Commissioning Editor of Dispatches and Editor of ITV’s The Big Story, along with producing and directing various history and arts programs.

Her contributions to television have been recognized with numerous awards, including the Royal Television Society (RTS) Fellowship for Outstanding Contribution to Television, RTS Journalism award for Outstanding Contribution to Television Journalism, and several other personal awards for their work in documentary and broadcasting. She continues to executive produce major international documentaries and has served in academic roles as a Visiting Professor at Lincoln and De Montfort Universities and as a Visiting Fellow at the Reuters Institute at Oxford University.
