Associate Director of Communications and Corporate Affairs, RAND Europe
Lynne Saylor is the Associate Director of Communications and Corporate Affairs at RAND Europe. She leads a team that oversees the dissemination of RAND Europe's research and its impact. In doing so, she interacts with the press and media, manages web content including the use of social media, coordinates activity related to RAND Europe's Council of Advisors, and organises outreach events in the UK and Brussels, which are held to raise the profile of both research and organisational goals.
Her focus throughout her career has been on public policy, and she has experience in both government and the private sector. She previously worked at the U.S. Trade Representative's Office in the area of External Affairs, the U.S. Senate, and in Corporate Affairs at Pfizer Inc., working directly with the President and the Chairman and CEO on issues ranging from trade-related intellectual property protection to U.S. trade and investment policy. Prior to joining RAND Europe in 2005, she managed her own communications consultancy based in the UK. She received an M.A. from the Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies.
