Dr. Matthew Smith is a consultant in technical and business solution development for data and science driven solutions. His passion is in working with organisations to create net new solutions, from ideation to proof of value. He had also held scientific research and applied product research and development roles to satisfy his determination that advanced knowledge and analytics shouldn't just sit in ivory towers but be put to good use in business and society.

Matthew has worked as an ecologist and environmental scientist before and during his time at Microsoft Research.
