Nicky Stevenson is a freelance consultant and researcher, with a particular interest in social impact measurement. She has worked in the social enterprise sector for over twenty years, initially as a member of a community co-op in Norwich, then as a business adviser for Norfolk and Norwich Co-operative Development Agency. She was a founder and partner at The Guild, a leading social enterprise consultancy until 2012. From 2012 - 2014 she was the Co-ordinator of Norfolk Community Transport Association.

Nicky has worked on a number of influential research projects including work for the National Offender Management Service on the opportunities for reducing re-offending through social enterprise. She has written extensively about the role of mutual and social enterprise in various areas of social policy. She co-wrote 'A Guide to Getting Started in Social Impact Measurement' and designed and co-wrote a Social Impact Measurement Toolbox with Helen Fitzhugh, with whom she wrote 'Inside Social Enterprise' published by Policy Press in February 2015.

She is an experienced trainer and is currently an Associate Lecturer at Anglia Ruskin University

Nicky was one of the founders of Social Enterprise East of England and has been a board member ever since. She is also company secretary.
