Renata Schaeffer is the Head of International Partnerships at the Strategic Partnership Office, University of Cambridge.
Renata works with University of Cambridge’s Schools, Faculties and Departments in developing institutional relationships with higher education and research institutes, governments, funders and NGOs internationally.
This work is aligned with the University International Strategy’s commitment to extending global public good – namely through the lives of the world’s poorest 3 billion people – and to identifying clear routes to research impact through partnership with our global partners
Renata’s motivation to contribute to the Sustainable Development Goals through the participation in Cambridge Global Challenges stems from a wish to better support the academic community in developing and sustaining equitable and meaningful partnerships in the Global South.
