NERC-Funded CSaP Policy Intern (February 2013 - May 2013)

After completing her PhD at the University of Bristol in August 2013, where her research involved tracking water level changes of the Amazon basin with space-borne remote sensing, Amanda joined Telespazio VEGA UK as an Earth Observation Engineer.

In February 2013, Amanda started a three-month NERC-funded internship at CSaP where she worked with Executive Director, Robert Doubleday, on the EU BON project; helped organise the 'reducing poverty' workshop - a joint initiative between CSaP and the Joseph Rowntree Foundation - and participated in a series of review meetings and Policy Workshops with CSaP's Policy Fellows.

Amanda has a BSc (Hons) in Environmental Science and an MSc in Environmental Remote Sensing from the University of Dundee.
