Aude Neuville is a Policy Officer in the Science Advice to Policy Unit of the European Commission's Joint Research Centre. She trained as an economist and worked in the French government and later in the European Commission, focusing on environmental economics and environmental policy (on transport and environment, and on biodiversity and ecosystem services).

Since 2012 she has been working with David Mair in the Science Advice to Policy Unit of the JRC, where she follows environment and climate policies, with a view to facilitate JRC scientific support to Commission policymaking in these areas (JRC work related to climate policies includes modelling of mitigation policies, of climate impacts and adaptation, modelling and monitoring GHG emissions, analysis of the links with air pollution, analysis of low carbon technologies).
