Analyst, RAND Europe

Bryn Garrod is an Analyst with RAND Europe, where he carries out health services research and researches health and wellbeing in the workplace, and research funding in the UK. He is also interested in energy usage, science, technology and innovation policy, and statistical analysis.

Bryn holds a PhD in Mathematics from the University of Cambridge. After completing his PhD he spent a year in the civil service working for the Information and Communication Technology directorate at the Ministry of Justice. He then worked for the Independent Market Operator in Western Australia, where he worked on improving economic efficiency by refining the rules for the wholesale electricity market.
