Daniel is senior government statistician with 10 years experience working in a number of central government statistical roles. Daniel began his career working in the Government Statistical Service in the Department for Health and has since worked in a number of roles in MHCLG, including in central strategy, fire statistics, planning and affordable housing before taking overall responsibility for all MHCLG housing and planning statistics. In his current role at NHS England, Daniel leads on providing the effective strategy and operational policies for promoting analytical led innovation across the primary care sector. He also leads on the monitoring and assurance of delivery against plans within the NHS, and provides in-depth analysis and modelling to support the implementation of the NHS long-term plan and government manifesto commitments.

A large part of his career has been spent producing detailed statistical reports and providing evidence for policy development most recently including various areas of housing and planning policy.
