Emma is a PhD student in the Department of Psychiatry looking at how to best identify mental health difficulties, risk for mental health difficulties, and adverse childhood experiences in primary school aged children. She is particularly interested in using big data to better identify early life adversity, and in the role of schools in delivering the public mental health response to the increasing prevalence of mental health difficulties in children and young people.
