Joséphine is a NERC funded PhD student at the British Antarctic Survey and at the Department of Applied Mathematics and Theoretical Physics (University of Cambridge). She is fascinated by the polar regions and her research focuses on investigating how ocean currents impact melting of the Antarctic Ice Sheet in a warming climate.

Joséphine is interested in the interaction between climate science and policy and she is currently completing a policy internship at CSaP.

Prior to starting her PhD, Joséphine worked as an Engineer in the energy industry and then as a Strategy Consultant before starting her own consulting business while living in Indonesia. She holds an MEng in Engineering Science from the University of Oxford, an MBA from the Universidad Europea, and an MSc in Physical Oceanography from Bangor University.
