ESRC-Funded CSaP Policy Intern (October 2013 - April 2014)

Kirstine was a Policy Intern at the Centre for Science and Policy, where she worked with Dr Moira Faul on the Policy Challenge "Behavioural insights into emergency planning and response".

She is a Research Associate at the Policy Evaluation & Research Unit, Manchester Metropolitan University. She holds a PhD from the Prison Research Centre, Cambridge Institute of Criminology focussing on the role of Education in rehabilitation. She also has an MPhil in Criminological Research from the University of Cambridge as well as an MMath in Pure Mathematics from the University of Sheffield. Further to this she holds a PGCE and worked as a secondary Mathematics teacher in the north of England before turning her attention to academia.
