Kumar Sharad is a PhD Candidate in the Computer Laboratory at the University of Cambridge. He works in the Security Group, supervised by Dr Steven Murdoch and Ross Anderson. His research focusses on privacy and anonymity. He is he recipient of Dorothy Hodgkin Postgraduate Award and my research is funded by Microsoft Research.

Before starting his PhD Kumar completed his M.Sc. from the RWTH Aachen University, Germany. His course work was focused on security and cryptography, and his thesis was also in this area.
