Deputy Director, Export & Investment Policy

Matt is the Deputy Director in charge of the new Exports & Investment Policy Unit in DIT. Prior to this, he spent two and a half years as a Senior Private Secretary in both DIT and BIS, working for George Hollingbery, Greg Hands and Sajid Javid. Before that, he worked in UKTI for 3 years, initially starting in the Energy team, and then moving on to head up the exports side of the Technology team, and then becoming the Head of Advanced Manufacturing leading on both exports and investment.
He holds an BA in Politics from the University of Sheffield, and a PgCert in Management from the Ashridge Business School.
