Pauline Paillé is an analyst at RAND Europe working in the area of defence and security. Her work spans a range of defence and security issues including counterterrorism and counter-violent radicalisation; hybrid warfare; violent extremism; international and European security, climate change and the impact of emerging and disruptive technologies.

Prior to joining RAND, she conducted research for various organisations, such as the International Institute for Strategic Studies and the Hudson Institute, on a wide range of international security issues. She also worked as an analyst for the French Ministry of Defence and the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs. She holds a M.A. in international politics from Sciences Po Bordeaux and attended both the University of California at Berkeley and Laval University as part of her multidisciplinary studies.
