Sarah Healey is now Director General in the Economic and Domestic Affairs Secretariat, Cabinet Office, having previously been Director General at the Department for Exiting the European Union. Earlier in her career she held roles in the Department of Culture, Media and Sport, Department for Work and Pensions, and the Department for Education. She has also worked in the Senior Civil Service on gender diversity projects, encouraging job sharing schemes in departments that allow staff with different needs to continue working and maintaining other commitments.
Sarah began her civil service career in the Cabinet Office, where she worked in the Prime Minister's Strategy Unit. She studied Modern History and English at the University of Oxford, and holds an MSc in Social Policy from the London School of Economics.
