Siddharth is now working on asset sales, strategy and governance for public enterprises in HM Treasury.
He previously worked for the National Infrastructure Commission, where he led the Commission’s work on the case for a new UK Infrastructure Bank, emerging digital systems and their programme of social research. Prior to that, he was a Policy Adviser in the Financial Services Group of HM Treasury, leading on financial inclusion and working on the development of the Prime Minister’s Life Chances Strategy.
Siddharth holds a B.Sc. in Economic History and a M.Sc. in Population and Development from the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE), the latter funded by a joint ESRC and Population Investigation Committee Studentship. Prior to joining the Civil Service he worked in Parliament and co-authored a paper on pre-election contact between the Civil Service and the opposition at the Institute for Government.
