EU Policy and Political Campaigns Manager, Google

Alina is EU Campaigns Manager in the Policy and Political Campaigns Team at Google. Before this, she was Public Policy Manager for Google UK with responsibility for content regulation, copyright and education policy. In this role, Alina led on new regulatory frameworks for online content regulation, from AVMSD implementation to UK’s online harms proposals. She sat on the Government’s Digital Skills Partnership Board, the Creative Industries Federation Council and has recently joined Ofcom’s Making Sense of Media Advisory Panel. Prior to working at Google, Alina worked in communications consultancies and think tanks. She holds a MSc in European Public Policy from UCL, as well as a BA in Political Science and a BA in Journalism and Public Relations from University of Bucharest.
