Dan is responsible for managing Diageo’s reputation and positive social and economic impact on the places where the company operates. He leads the global government, communications and society teams and strategy across the 180 countries where the company makes and sells its brands. He is a member of the Diageo Executive management team.

Previously, Dan worked for Standard Chartered Bank for 8 years, including 3 years as Regional Head of Corporate Affairs, Africa.

Prior to that, Dan worked as part of the UK Representation to the European Union and as a Senior Policy Adviser at HM Treasury.
