Interested in climate and social issues from a very young age, Gervase began his career as an environmental journalist covering the advancement of mining in Peru. In 2013, she joined the UK Civil Service, where, among other roles, she worked managing an employment center for people with debt and energy poverty. Realizing that an understanding of human behavior was essential to designing effective policies and achieving social change, Gervase completed a master's degree in Behavioral Economics.
