Katie Farrington became Director General for Disability, Health and Pensions in March 2021. This role sits in DWP’s Policy Group alongside the Director General for Labour Market Policy and Implementation.

Before this post, Katie was Director for Universal Credit and Employment Policy in DWP. She previously worked as Director for Technology, Digital and Data in the Department for Health and Social Care and NHSX.  She has also worked in Cabinet Office; and in the Department for Education.
