Keren Shurkin, the Director of the UK Israel Tech Hub, plays a pivotal role in advancing social and economic growth through technology for the British Embassy Israel. With 280+ partnerships established, the Hub has significantly impacted the Climate, Health, and Cyber-Fintech sectors, generating an estimated £1 billion economic impact. Keren leads the execution of the tech chapters of the UK-Israel Bilateral Roadmap, overseeing tech policy, incubation, and government-industry relations.

Beyond her corporate responsibilities, Keren is a champion for equity in the tech economy. She oversees the Women Leading Innovation initiative, fostering female entrepreneurship; as well as mentoring new immigrants to support their integration into the workforce.

As a business leader, Keren's expertise spans key strategist, operator, and relationship manager roles. She founded and led a Corporate Venture Builder, introducing groundbreaking medical education brands that catalysed global health best practices. In operations, Keren drove organisational transformation across a global enterprise with 18 offices, managing over 50 life-science events and diverse, multi-faith, multi-functional teams across numerous geographies, with budgets exceeding €40 million.

Keren has a 1st Class BSc from the University of Birmingham, over 15 years leadership experience and has completed a variety of executive education, notably 10 Downing Street Data for Senior Leaders course, and MIT Tech Policy Certification.
